PERLITE, AGRIPERLITE 2/6 mm (pallet of 22 bags of 150 lt).
Agriperlite is a product, inorganic and stable, chemically inert, sterilized.
Perlite is a specific variety of effusive volcanic rock included in the range of rhyolites and dacites which has the exceptional property of expanding up to 20 times compared to its original volume.
Under the effect of high temperatures (between 850 and 1,000 C) reached in contact with a flame in the expansion furnace, the water contained in the granule dissociates and turns into steam, swelling the surrounding glass walls and causing the characteristic increase of volume of the granule itself.
This irreversible process determines the formation of microcavits which give the expanded perlite its extraordinary insulating power.
In addition, expanded perlite cannot be attacked by microorganisms due to its sterility and inorganicity and does not activate the development of microbiological pollutants.

FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND FIELDS OF USE
MIXED WITH CEMENT FOR THE REALIZATION OF:
? Thermal insulation;
? Refractory concrete.
USED IN BULK:
? Substrate for rooting cuttings and herbaceous plants thanks to the excellent air-water ratio with consequent better oxygenation of the root system;
? soil conditioner for clayey soils;
? Mixed to the soil to confer sterility and to reduce the frequency of pathogenic attacks on the roots;
? Inert for hydroponic crops;
? Preparation of compounds for seed beds, growth in pallets and pots;
? Substrate for soil-free cultivation of flowers, fruit and vegetables;
? Inert for the storage of bulbs and tubers;
? Water reserve on the bottom of pots;
? As an insulator in the formation of sprues in the foundry;
? As an absorbent in the packaging of packages containing dangerous liquids;
? For thermal insulation of non-practicable attics.
