Soft soap with potassium oil (750 gr), for foliar treatments

SOFT SOAP POTASSIC OIL (750 gr) , FOR LEAF TREATMENTS.

Soft Potassium Soap is a cleanser, wetting, tackifier, enhancer of the natural defenses of plants, invigorating.

Authorized for use in conventional and organic agriculture by EU Reg. No. 354/2014 Annex II point 6.

Soft potassium soap, based on potassium salt and olive oil, pasty, completely natural and biodegradable, pure, undiluted.

It is used as an aqueous solution: facilitated dissolution if it occurs in warm water.

Cleansing action

Soft Potassic Soap dissolves honeydew and fumaggini, pathological coatings from the development of fungi that feed on decomposing organic materials. Both reduce the action of light, chlorophyll photosynthesis, gaseous exchanges, causing deterioration to plants and a decrease in yields and production quality.

Soft Potassic Soap removes insect eggs and reduces the humidity necessary for the appearance of algae and fungi.

It is applied as a solution of 0.5 - 1 kg in 100 liters of water.

The application must be repeated 3 or 4 times interspersed between 7 - 10 days.

Wetting / tackifying action

The Soft Potassium Soap used as a wetting agent because it reduces the surface tension of the water, allowing better dispersion.

In agriculture, the wetting effect necessary to ensure the homogeneous distribution and coverage of the phyto-protective film of reinforcers, e.g. kaolin, of fertilizers or pesticides, applied for the protection of olive trees, vines, vegetable crops (e.g. tomatoes) or fruits.

The water treatment must be carried out before adding the active agents.

A concentration around 1/2000, 50 - 60 gr per 100 liters of water is sufficient.

Together with the wetting action, the soft potassium soap also performs the tackifying effect.

In fact, it helps the adhesion of the preparations on the vegetation and allows their persistence in case of light removal actions due to intense dew until weak rain.

The cleansing and invigorating actions take place as long as the soft potassium soap present in the state of liquid aqueous solution.

We therefore recommend spraying in the less hot hours of the day, preferably in the evening, in order to prevent the effectiveness from ceasing with the rapid evaporation of the water.

Precautions and advice for use

Soft Potassium Soap acts exclusively physically, not chemically, free from toxic consequences, typical of other soaps.

As such, the aqueous solution with basic behavior (pH 11) can be slightly irritating to eyes and skin, so it is advisable to use it using suitable protective agents.

Avoid use during flowering periods, to avoid that the solution could be an obstacle to the function of pollinating insects.

There are no particular warnings for the low concentrations in which the wetting and tackifying detergent actions take place.

Not compatible with copper-based products such as Bordeaux mixture with very hard water due to the excessive presence of calcium, magnesium, or metal ions.

Furthermore, it must not be mixed with substances that activate in a basic environment, such as Bacillus thuringiensis .

Therefore it is always advisable to carry out a small test to check compatibility and any phytotoxicity with possible sensitive varieties.
