We specify that this tool built to cut the wire by overlapping the two blades (to be more precise, the classic wire cutter SWC-210 or SWC-180 cuts not by overlapping the blades but by contact); for this reason, once the cut has been made, the tool remains closed. It is therefore a feature that distinguishes this particular model that guarantees the operator not to damage the plant once the wire has been cut because, as it is built to enter the narrow ravines where the normal cutter does not pass, if the blades open from sun by simply letting go as in SWC, the surrounding branches could be damaged. Therefore closing the tool after cutting is not to be seen as a constructive error or a defect, but as a salient feature of the object.
